I bought all my IC piping(and then some) from Aaron at Driftmotion, it's 100% FTW! I ended up having to fab up my own DP(and then some again) to match up with my 935 exhaust, and I bought those from Airflo.

If your dad has a muffler shop, I am sure he can make you hardpipe. I am running steel hardpipe like exhaust piping steel. Its probably weigh 5 lbs total the most. A lot of people running steel hardpipe because it is easier to weld and to get.

I am running 11psi stock, stock turbo, no bc, and only a 3" cat back exhaust. My stock guage was reading +4 at full boost, which was way off the mark! My car pulls quite hard for a DD but I also have another shitbox for when the supra is off the road. I would also advise to put money towards maintenance before power mods.

Awesome! If that's a good way of doing it, I could save a crap load of money by just getting him to hit to fab me up some. I appreciate you guys. The only reason I haven't done that yet is because I didn't think anyone else has done it but now that I know that's the way I'm going for sure. Thanks for everyones input and this will be probably all I'm doing as I don't want to be without a car. So I appreciate everyone for making that clear to me.. Never thought about the price I might pay if something goes wrong.

With me being in college

Knowing this. I change my recommendation to you.

I would forgo modding the car until you get out of college. I can tell you that in stock configuration. The 87-92 supra are reliable. Extremly reliable to tell you the truth.

+1^^^

If it is your DD, then you want to do as little to it as possible. Shim the WG(the soda can under the turbo) to make sure the flapper door is closed during boost-up, and other than that youve done all you should as far as modding until you buy another DD. By shimming I mean use about 2mm's worth of washers on the two bolts that attach the WG to the turbo housing. Hardpipes are not worth your time, just tighten the existing connections.

Besides that, just do your Preventative Maintenance(its in caps for a reason) and you will be happy w/ the power and will be able to hang with your college buddy's monthly-payment V8 for a lot less coin.
