Quick ? for anyone that knows, are hardtop turbos more rare than the targa turbo?

well how come i never see them? It seems all the mk3s i see are targa, and i had 3 targas before my hardtop.

because thats what you bought... i do see more targa turbo's then i see nonturbo targa...

my 90 - targa + turbo
86.5 - hard top + non-turbo..

I see more targa turbos. Both y supras were hardtop tho.

Most people who were shelling out the money for supra turbo, were probably gonna shell the little bit more to have all the options.

From what I have seen turbo targa and NA hardtop are the more common combo's

I had one of each (two hardtops if you count my parts car)...so, I vote not rare.

I see very few turbo/hard tops.

I have a hardtop, but it's an N/A w/ full turbo conversion and as previously stated, I think there were a lot more turbo/sportroofs made than turbo/hardtops.

Although, I'm not sure whether the serial numbers reflect whether a car is a turbo or not. You'd think so, but I dunno.

Someone like Jeff Lang might know on both questions,
i.e. Production #'s and whether serial #'s reflect turbo or non-turbo.

That is if you even see an mk3. Sightings are pretty rare but as rare as seeing a mk4, and I travel quite a bit.

Rarely see Mk3's here at all and HT's are even rarer!

My blue turbo parts car is a HT and auto, Ohhh the shame!!! Both N/A's I've had are HT's.

They are pretty even as far as rarity goes where I live.
