Hard starting when cold.

Mine was doing the same thing. I replaced the battery, it helped, not much.. then I put a new CSI time switch in as I had just replaced the Water outlet and kept the sensors. Now it starts Ok, but still takes a little longer when its cold. Lemme guess: no codes right?

I would like a definitive answer so I can fix, but until then, well chalk it up to FPM, and let it ride as normal when its cold.

Don't assume that the shortblock is in perfect health after many miles and years of service. But that isn't the first thing I would look at either.
