Targa.

Usually, I am all about function over form, but I wanted a Supra targa because I had already decided the car would strictly be a street car (with a decent amount of power). The extra weight and body flex is an acceptable compromise for added fun-to-drive factor. Plus, I have/had enough hardtop cars.

like i said earlier, a brace for the targa can be had that will allow the chassis rigidy of having the top on or better and allows for the open air feel... incase you all havent seen it before. i could post a link to the thread if anyone wants it.

Ever wonder where all them bald spots come from, yup you guessed it sunroofs, targas, ect. I should know, yup I had a convertible when I was young now I got one too LOL... Stay Smart, Hairy, and COOL, cruise in a HARDtop and use your A/C:)

i love my targa too, its what makes the supra so unique in my opinion.... you can't beat cruising around with the targa off.....

hell i don't even put my targa on anymore.... i just leave it in my garage.

lol... having a targa doesnt mean you have to suffer in the heat.

owning a targa car gives you the best of both worlds. when the targa is on, the chassis rigidity is right on par w/ a hardtop. and w/ the top on, the AC works just as fine as it does in a hardtop

but on those beautiful, partially overcast 75*F days w/ no chance of rain... we will be top down and stunnin hard!

In my last convertible a 78 fiat 124 spyder my favorite time was cruising PCH from Malibu to San Clemente on a cool clear winter Night with the awesome heater blowing.
