Well after leaving my friends house i did a little burnout, then i let off. Dumb me didnt remember my throttle linkage will get stuck open sometimes causing me to hit the revlimiter in between gears. So I let off the gas and the likage was stuck open, after puttiing it in neutral from 1st gear i was still hitting the rev limiter(didnt know what to do). So i quickly put it in 2nd. then neutral again and kept going. Then for some odd reason I put it in 4th gear, and the car started decelerating ...finally). So got to the stop sign and noticed that in first gear when disengaging it would disengage hard. 2 to 5th feel good, but its just in 1st gear that it will disengage hard.

I was wondering if I should adjust the clutch? Or maybe its glazed? Thanks

BTW I have a very low mialage ACT 6 Puck clutch with an new Aisin Pressure plate.

burnouts = hard on entire drivetrain. clutch/ tranny/ diff.

if it shifts fine in 2,3,4,5 then obviously your clutch is fine and you fuked first.

The transmission does not grind at all, and it is not hard to put it in gear at all. Its just that in first gear when I released the clutch it disengages hard. If I go easy enough on it you can hardly feel it at all.
