hanging plug???

ok i was working on my 86.5 5spd while i was working on the brakes ont the drivers side i noticed a plug hanging out from under the car it goes up under the intake mani somewhere cant tell where but the car is running but really rough sputters alot. and also where does the vacuum nipple on the intake mani run too?

as far as the plug, i don't think anyone will be able to help without a pic...

the vacuum nipple, is it the one facing the firewall? because i believe that one goes inline with the vacuum to the cruise control, using a "t" connector?

if your car is running rough, it might be a knock sensor connector...

If the clip is red, its probably the fpr vsv

no its a white plug and the wires on it are about 16 inches long

recently doing my head gasket..i couldnt figure out where this one went so i was told to just leave it alone ....

it has two wires only. one is red the other is yellow,and it runs to the lower part of the intake mani. ill see if i can borrow my friends camera and post some pics.

do your reverse lights work?

there are 2 wires there for the reverse lights

that attaches to the top of the tranny
