I have never played Halo, but I've watched. I don't think I would enjoy it; I really hate FPS without a mouse and keyboard.
The last FPS I played that I really enjoyed was the Team Fortress Classic mod for Half Life. It lost popularity to Counterstrike, which I played for a short while, and did not enjoy as much.
The Metal Gear series has always been a superior brand of game to me, and any news has my interest. I have beaten MGS3 on all difficulty levels, and I never got bored of the game. I've been playing Metal Gear since the Nintendo, and it was one of my favorites. I almost lost it when I heard of the first MGS being released on the Playstation, and each release since then has been better. Right now I play World of Warcraft, but I'll devote some time to MGS4 when it arrives.
