Well before i go buying parts I wanted to ask a few things...

After my rebuild we did the timing on the car and set it to 10* after and so on...

Only difference is when we did it, we didnt bypass the ECU, but everything seemed fine. The cars idle varies, mostly it starts up and sits at 750 or so, right on.. even though I can feel a small putter sometimes like its still off. After driving for a while it has high idle and then evens off around 950. I believe my 02 sensor is shot to hell, in fact Im almost positive. I havent run any codes yet but Ill check that this afternoon.

So with all that said so far, what process should I take to looking into things? The car just has a putter to it sometimes, nothing significantly bad, and the idle changes, not while Im sitting there but at each stop, its almost as if the ECU is relearning everything and tuning it exactly everytime I drive bc of the busted sensor.... I dont know....

I did want to ask though, will an SAFC-II help me out in this situation at all? Or pointless?

Im also running without a cat if that makes a difference.

Forgot ot add, if I pull the EFI Fuse and reset the ECU, the car will start up and idle at 750 for a lil bit even after just running at 950...if that matters

Which situation? The one where by failing to set timing correctly and forcing the ECU to use an improper reference for all further timing corrections you've skewed the entire ESA system? That situation?

There is your answer.

When you moved the CPS without having T and E1 jumped, the computer has the wrong position, and is trying to fight what you did with bogus information.

in regards to that quote.. how would one remedy that situation? plug the jumper in and readjust to 10* btdc?

Another epiphany. Lucky you...most people only get to have a few their entire lives ;)

didn't I just see you at "postwhoresanonymous.com" seriously, i understand you're "oldschool"(not that it gives you an "excuse" or anything), and might have been around before manners where. And yes WHEN you have legit info to add you're the shit, but 6:10 of your posts are just that, worthless. :nono:
