should've put in a f20c....

f*ck sr's and rb's. Too mainstream. Props to the builder for doing something different.

Crazy swap, but it's bcuz the H22 is the most powerful AND cheapest honda motor you can buy. And everybody knows Honda is the king of fwd motors - high revving, powerful, durable and reliable. Of course the Nissan motors would've been easier, but can't get mad at ingenuityand originality.

an sr20det (TURBO) has 215hp out the box.

n/a h22a's have 200 hp, or 220hp depending on the model, N/A...

Exactly. With my h22a4 swapped lude once I was up in the rpms it would pull like a freaking banshee. All that was done was an ecu upgrade, cold air intake full exhaust a light weight flywheel and an upgraded clutch.

I kinda miss my prelude now thanks alot....

Man, this is a sick ass swap! I like it! Can't hate on originality and creativity. K series would of been hectic. :aigo:

H22 over SR's anyday.

A 7M in that would of been game OVA!

Alot, they are in high demand...

Thats why they make the LTX. Cheaper!!

H22's fail for boost. Their cylinder walls are made of paper. That being said they are amazing right out of the box with bolt on's.
K-series is the best honda motor to date for boost. I know of this one dude who put down 698whp on 28psi on a completely stock K24A4 with a K20Z3 head.
