To get things back in order, by personal experience, I enjoy my BG Springs.
I've also got them matched up with KYB GR-2's, making for a stiff [but not so stiff] ride.

Handling is noticeably better, and if you are indeed going for a cheap, well handling suspension with a daily driveable ride, you'd probably enjoy BG Springs.

However, as stated earlier, depending on what you're wanting to do with it...it may be something complete opposite of your needs.

If you want springs that will have that 'mad tyt3 y0' drop, then steer clear of these springs. Overall appearance is AMAZING, but the front may not be as low as some would prefer it to be.

Hope you decide on something and please do loosen up your necktie a little bit, man. This is a very laid back and friendly environment...lets not change that.

well i do appologize..sorry fellas for the messed up comments..just frustrated with my car..wont happen again...to answer some questions...i am looking for springs that will make the car sit low but yet not sag...i like the BG drop but fear if later down the line the springs will sag lower then 1.6 all around..but something tells me to stick to the h and r's because all of my cars had them ..just didnt like the front lower then the back always wanted that even drop..

The H&R's have a noticeable rake. Also, they can sag as they age. The springs on my car are many years old (bought them used) and have most likely sagged as much as they are ever going to.

Pictures will help illustrate my point.

Amazing! Have they really developed that much sag over time or were they, from the get-go, that much lower than the rear?

If you want an all-around even drop, B&G is great for that. My car has a very straight stance...sits even on all fours...but as stated earlier, the front end may appear to be a bit higher just because it IS an even drop all the way around.

That pic may be a slight bit misleading due to the angle. There is about 3/4" difference between the fender and the tire when you compare front to back. Also, the rear tire is a 245/45 and the front is a 225/50. Therefore the front tire is slightly larger (reduces the rake) but increases the gap in the rear (makes the rake look larger). Overall I like the raked look. It looks very agressive and also induces less negative camber to the rear tires.

Now if only I could afford to replace all the suspension bushings so I could get the alignment back to factory spec.

I have had my H&R springs for over a month and they are amazing. I was worried because everyone said they would be too stiff and lower it too much, but the handling is amazing and the ride height is perfect. I am still on stock shocks and it still rides great. The car is a little lower than it looks in the picture, but that was when I first installed them and they hadn't set yet.
