Guys with 89+ that went JDM tails?

All I can find are threads about the 88 and under guys talking about fitting their modling and whatnot to those tail lights. My question is simple... I have an 89 with that graphite colored molding... In fact... here is a picture of the car.

The molding on the JDM lights look to be a darker color (almost like a black)... Is there any way to swap the molding, lenses or something along those lines so that they match the rest of my car?

Also anyone have any pictures of those lights on the same color/molding car?

the red piece is held on with tabs, I believe, it's interchangeable..

as Razoe said, pull the red lens/plastic off both the JDM and USDM center sections and swap them.. you may want to run a little silicone on the edges though.
