good grief, all he has to do is provide proof that it was shipped, and he's throwing a hissy fit? he has had your funds for over a week now,and he cant provide you with a reciept or is unreachable? naw, that sounds screwy and not cool.
its up to the seller to provide you with al that info ASAP!! it's called "good business practices"

He's definately up to no good. I'm glad you filed the claim as soon as you did. It shows you aren't as dumb as he was hoping you'd be...............lol

My only suggestion is to NOT CANCEL THE DISPUTE until you recieve the item. If you close the dispute for any reason paypal becomes assholes and wont help you, trust me i just went through this. I had to call my credit card company and explain the story. The CC company instantly refunded me though and put it on paypal to fix it.

Thanks, I've already talked to PP & the giy I spoke said taht if a claim is cancelled, you can't file another one for any reason what so ever. For instance, if I was to cancel the claim before I received the package & then the seller had the package returned to him, I'm S O L. Once you cancel a claim, you waive ALL of your rights, current AND future.

Moral of the story, if you file a claim, make sure you ride it all the way through before you cancel it, or you will lose.

He doesn't think that you're pulling a scam. He just knows that you know that he's pulling a scam. He's relying on your honesty to make you believe that he is honest. If you cancel your claim, you have lost everything invested in this deal. If you receive a engine, it's only because he sees that you're not playing around. I wish you all the best.............lol

All scammers and thieves found guilty of stealing something from hard working honest folks should be shot on sight.................:2ar15:

LOL, STILL no reply from him. On an aside, he said that he didn't contact me for the first week (before I filed the claim) because he was in the hospital. I guess he been back.

Yeah, it's not Mark I would be worried about. It's the other losers on eBay that piss me off. In the last two months I have bid on a few supras. They went for more than I thought the cars were worth. I then received emails from the people selling the cars stating that the winner wasn't able to buy the car and they offered it to me for what my maximum bid was. I then contacted the people that had won the two cars and both of them replied back that the cars were supposed to be on their way to them. They had paid the deposits and were waiting on their new cars to arrive. Meanwhile, the sellers were trying to scam me for twenty five hundred dollars two seperate occasions by two different sellers. All I have to say is ............Buyers beware..........lol

Yeah, um, let me tell you the kind of guy Mark is, oh you guys are gunna love this...

Mark is the kind of guy that when you machinist says: your cams are 'fd up: Mark will send you an extra set he has "layin around"...

Mark is the kind of guy, that when your machinist says: Your head has a crack in it that can't be fixed, Mark sent me a spare head that had been pre-tested to make sure it wasnt a waste of time...

Mark is the kind of guy, that when I said I wanted to PC my ffi and valve covers, he said I have some extra zoop, send them to me and I'll polish them for you... Then he says, send me any part you want polished, you'll regret not getting everything you want done... *are you sure?* Yeah man, send it down...

Mark has done ALOT for me, and you know why? Because I was "nice" enough to help him one time, and he's been there for me ever since... You think Mark would scam you? You're a moron... Mark is one of the most stand up honest sincere guys I've ever met...

BTW: can you reverse ship something? Imean, once it's on a truck and on its way, can you really call up the shipper and be like: hey I changed my mind, bring it back...

I mean, you'd be losing your shipping money, even if you could, would it be worth it? Not to mention, the guy HAS the money, one way or another, he'll get it... I dont see why he's cryin so hard...

He's crying because it was always going to be a scam. He never intended on sending Mark his package that he bought. He fully intends or intended to rip Mark off. Luckily Mark isn't an easy mark.........a little pun intended.

Reign, you speek so highly of him, I wish I knew him personally. But alas, I live in a little bitty city of about a thousand people and don't get to actually talk to the outside world very much. So, I just sit here and type and type and type.....................lol

I know, yur apost whore... hehehheheheheheheeee

And I have NEVER met Mark in person... Isnt it odd that Mark is such a "scammer" that he would do stuff like this for a guy he's never met?

Anyway, Mark, I hope you get your stuff, I know if this guy pulls out it's going to be an unpleasant situation... I hope it all works out, if not, dont give up... There ARE reliable sellers...

Do not under any circumstances cancel that dispute before you:

Have the motor in your posession
Have inspected it
Feel that you have 100% of what you paid for.

Trust me on this... If you keep the claim open, the worst that will happen is you will get your money back and one of us will have to find a motor for you to buy.

Again: DO NOT CANCEL THAT CLAIM

No doubt about it.....IF it was shipped motor freight, it has tracking, and he didn't have to pay to get it. If he can't provide it for you, or even respond suggests that it was not shipped yet. At the very least, he should have given you a reason why not. If it is a motor (as leaked in post#1), maybe he had to remove it from the car after selling it. His intentions could still have been to get it shipped, until the claim was filed. Bad business is in effect here, but bad intentions may or may not have been there.

I wish the seller would speak up and clear it all up for us. Mark is a great guy! I am not sure if we have done business, but I think we have. I buy and sell parts here a lot. I can speak for the people who have spoken up for him. I have personnally dealt with Reign Maker, Boost3d, Suprahero, Justin727, and jpeek29208. These are some of the most respected members on this forum. Add to that the single most respected guy here....IJ, and Mark, you have got credibility. I wish everybody could be as good as you!
