Well this weekend I gutted my cats and boy did it ever help my car, it sure pulls hard now through the entire rpm range. But now im getting a bunch of smoke. Its hard to tell what the color really is because of all the really windy days weve had lately. It looks white but it doesnt smell like coolant. It smells like and overly rich car. No sweet smelling coolant and I know what that smells like. Its not black and its not blue. black is usually rich and blue is usually oil burning. The car doesnt miss ever and I never have any water come out the tailpipe even on a cold start up. Im thinking about ordering a new HG anyway and replacing it due to my ARP studs coming loose incident (and dont say they dont) but im really confused on what to do.

Yea but it still worries me because its a considerable amount of smoke and is kind of embarrassing when I pull up to a stop light and then a puff of smoke comes out. Im gonna get my friend to drive behind me and tell me how bad it is.

It was a real pain in the ass getting it down the driveway. I had to rent a Uhaul and buy a chain and drag it down. :rofl:

Well im thinkin its oil. Its getting worse so its easier to see. It looks blue and smells like oil.
Im thinking its the Turbo but its only got 1200 miles on it since rebuild but my thought is that when I gutted my cats it overspun or something and blew the oil seal. I pulled the intake off and i could barely move the shaft side to side. The turbo still sounds good tho.

Its probably just "turbo poop". I own this phrase LOL. If you watch a semi truck take off from a stop and blow tons of black smoke out the pipe youve seen turbo poop. Turbo cars build up alot of carbon in the pipes and when you stomp on it. If this is not the case and the smoke is constant check your pcv valve.
