If you have the coin I'd highly, highly recomend getting the v8 (gs400). The lexus v8's are awesome engine. They get better gas milage than the 2j's and run forever and a day. That is, if you are not going turbo....

Not to sure yet. I like both so I will just wait until I find one that meets my standards.

Yeah I might get a GS430 and keep it stock. But if I end up getting a GS300 it is going to get a manual tranny and turbo FOR SURE.

BTW, some company makes plates to adapt a V160 to a UZ. If you grab a 1J bellhousing you could use the pair with an R154 for a manual 400/430.
