Guage Pod in place of Interior Light?

ok i love the a-pillars there sick but i want something diffrent so i was thinking of taking a 3 gauge holder like on a 350z and fliping it and placing it were the light is on the roof would be alot of extra wiring but when the targa would be of it that thing would be sick.

so what do yall think has it been done ?
bad idea ?

I think it's a crap idea gauges need to be around eye level or lower to be of any use so you can scan without taking your eyes off the road.

Im thinking of replacing those ridiculous pop up head lights with flashlights... Bad idea? Any one ever do it?

Ive been sick... Im getting better though... The doctors say I should be able to work on my supra again soon... lol... But seriously, just real life has been hectic, and yeah, Im sick, but getting better...

Another Supra guy and I were actually talking about lining both A pillars and the entire top of the windshield with guages.











Of course we were at the 4th bar of the night in Vegas so we "may" have been a little drunk at the time.
