Grinding Crack Clacking Sound

well it makes the noise when i'm not moving.....

i typed a q. asking about how much a new driveshaft costs....but i get a faster noise that couldnt be the driveshaft because my car doesnt have to move to hear this...

i thought it was rod knock but...it goes away sometimes! so....i dunno. i'm not worried about it....

i have wiggled my driveshaft because i've felt backlash though...i dont think i had any wiggling.... thanks though.

In my situation the noise and the sympotms were of those of the clutch,but acted oposite of what a clutch should doing. ie:making the noise on engage instead of disengage.Just some food for thought

Well my friend called the driveshaft shop for me to see what the deal was. They said it would be $450 to repair the d/s and fully balance including all parts and labor.

I guess its time to check out a jawgear d/s
