This thread is old, but I thought I would let you all know that I will not be working on the car....I figured since the car was absolutely free, and I went through the hassle of going to pick it up, my dad would let me work on it. But NO, he will hear nothing of it, and he is going to sell it. I am pretty upset

Man some people got all the luck. I had to work my ass off for two years after highschool and even went to college too so it was such a hassle but I was very satisfied when I got the supra mk3 in a POS condition. Anyway, welcome to SM! In other thoughts, I'm thinking of going to the Dakotas for a few days in the summer to do some hiking.

Oh just noticed your dad is opposed to it. That is sad.

I know, it is sad. More like frustrating. I plan on continuing to look for a Supra though. I know a place where I can get a deal on a good running non-turbo Supra....but I am not sure about going the non-turbo route...any opinions?
