There was a seam that ran along the top of the muffler that was beginning to bow out. So I gently hammered it flat then ran a bead to seal.

Now the question is... should I do all V-band clamps for the exhaust or not.

v-band ftmfw! superior sealing and ease of installation/removal... only down is the price

muffler looks nice btw! and nice welds! is that a mig?

I'm thinking: "If I do v-band at all, I'll do the quick release v-band."

Currently my DP is vband, but that sucker likes to stick once it's been heated up on the car.

MIG capable welder, currently set up as gasless with flux core wire. The machine can use gas and any wire.

what you got 220 ?
on my 120 welder i use .30 wire cause it welds the best at high heat and way easyer to contrrol a bed and if doing some thign thick i just use torch befor i weld
