A Felpro gasket will be quite sufficient. Steel ring seals around the cylinders, and brass jackets for all the coolant passages. Also, the other gaskets in the kit are good quality as well. New exhaust rings, metal throttle body gasket, and metal and graphite exhaust gasket. I've had nothing but success with them. Felpro is a little more expensive than the other brands, but well worth it.

Except for their paper EGR cooler gasket...

The OEM exhaust manifold gasket is better as well.

Anyway, a graphite headgasket (stock) is fine for the GE, just use the higher torque spec for the headbolts...

I will use the higher torque like between 70 and 80 would be my max after retorquing the head after lets say 2 to 300 miles.

One heat cycle would be vehicle run up to normal operating temperature, then cooled completely to ambient(outside air) temperature.
