So i was looking around at some things on Driftmotion and all they have to offer parts wise.
Some things i came across i wanted your guys opions and expertise :)

Also figured if anyone else had something they wanted to know about they could post and maybe get a anwser out of it.

So some parts i seen on there.

7M Lightwieght Flywheel (11.5lb) for R154
Wondering if you guys think its worth it will you see a big difference if so would it be more of a power gain or just a comfort DD sort gain?

Brian Cower Stage 2 cams (7MGTE)
Wondering if power gains are worth $700 or are they really only need for extreme builds? They say it will work with just a valve adjustment after install..
I'm curious what else will you need im assuming Ajustable cam gears and then a tune of some sort after there installed?

For the cams what turbo are you running? What are you tuning with? Do you have cam gears? Are you planning to upgrade the springs and retianers?

Flywheel is up to you. You lose drivetrain lose with it but you might find it stalls easier. I dont have a problem with mine 13.7lb but thats me.

Well im also trying to figure out what kind of stuff will be needed and if its even worth it. As of right now my plans are to get a 57Trim CT-26 or bigger havn't decided but thats my part for august :)
One day i might go with a T4 Turbo later on in life who knows.

As far as Tuning as of right now i only have the Apexi Safc. But wanting to go Maft Pro soon i want to get rid of my AFM.
Future i'd like to go AEM EMS.

Right now i have Stock Cams/Stock Gears
I didnt know there was a point to getting adjustable ones on stock cams as i don't know much about this area yet.

You can pick up a bit with cam gears on stock cams. Thats what Im doing, but I have a dyno at our shop so have unlimited use basically

Must be nice. im only a 7hour drive away lol.

What T4 type Turbo do you guys recommend

My preference is something that spools really quick (well i guess everyone want's that) My goal ATM is 400-450whp
(when i get there with the help of everyone here of course, Ill more then likely change it to 550 lol)

Flywheel isn't a performance gain really, personally on such a heavy car, it makes it harder to drive.

Cams, I've seen add about 10% gain to power on the top end. That's on modified cars though with turbos that don't run out of air (the CT does). $700 for what, 20HP is pretty crappy...

Is that why my car feels like its almost impossible to get my 7M to redline in anything but first gear? or you think i have a different problem?

It honestly just seems like it doesnt accelerate past 5800 in 3rd lol.

That's a separate problem. It should redline with ease...

well crap what do think that could be?

it redlines fine when the clutch is in and when im in first i can get it there if i stay in it long enough i can get there in 2nd but 3rd its just ridiculas staying on it that long without shifting

its been like this for a long time the only thing ive related to it is at the same rpm my alternator belt whales around. i know that wouldnt cause it but maybe the same problem causing it is also causing the belt to do that?

it's pretty bad tho... but thus far ive convinced myself its just how the car is lol.

But i've tried to push it to redline and it almost seemed impossible.

I can honestley feel the motor stop accelerating and seems to fall off untill i shift by 6100 it takes about 3-4seconds to go from 5700 to 6k rpms

let me see if i have a video that shows it since my tranny is off the car atm.

Stock cams are fine.

The problem with a lighter flywheel is that in middle of changing gears your revs drop quicker due to it's low inertia so you'd have to pay attention to the gas pedal more and shift quicker otherwise like what others said, you'd stall. So if that's not a problem for you then go for it :D. It just takes getting used to really you'd change your driving style to suit the flywheel
