got pulled tonight... :-/

so, pretty much i got pulled for not having my headlights on.... although all of my other lights were on (all lights, but headlights), anyhow, I didn't have my seatbelt on, nor did I have my liscense PLUSS i didn't go to court a while back for 2 tickets from driving my friend's 300zx.

The cop first pulled me over, and he was wondering why i drove so far after he turned his lights on. I was simply looking for a side street/parking lot to park in, i told him that, he asked for my liscnese and registration. I didn't have either (i had my 30 day tag papers from last august). So he interogated me about where i was coming from, where I was going, what my name/info was. Now what got me is he didn't even check the computer for my info... had he done so, I'd probably be in handcuffs right now. He also asked me to search my car, and i gladly let him (he thought i had been drinking or doin drugs), and of course, all he found was an allan key for my targa and a tire press. gauge. After he searched my car, he simply warned me and told me the statute about having your headlights on 30 min. before sunset. Then he let me go. (no registration, no liscense, headlights off, warrent for arrest, and no seatblet)... now, THAT was lucky :icon_cool

yes, it would be, money always helps... seriously, i'm workin on it... i just had a streak of bad luck when i was jobless... like the tickets, and losing my wallet. the reson for no job was b/c i was doing horribly in high school + i was trying to finish my engine swap, now that both are done, I'm workin, but don't have enough money to pay for the tickets or get a new liscense yet (havn't recieved first paycheck)

lol, i'm seriously on it... once i get my first check (it'll be like 50$, lmao) i'll at least be able to start sellin some of my shit (just random stuff, like a 18,885 km used 7m-gte auto tranny), i just didn't know that it was an issue (running driving lights, but not headlights)

yeh, i really should :-/, but i'm still young, so you know how that goes, still got a little of that "gotta go do stupid young people stuff" in me :-/, i know it's not good for me, but i can't do too much about it, just gotta grow older, it'll fade eventually, trust me, i used to do WAY stupider stuff, like i shouldn't be alive :-/

edit: don't get me wrong, i don't do stupid shit w/ my car (endangering it, or mis-using/abusing it, I have a VERY high respect for the supra, treat it right, and it'll do the same to you, it is my dd afer all)

yeh, i just need to move outa this area, the polise force here is unbelievable, it's more than doubled in like the past 2 years, it's fuckin rediculous, i should prolly just stick to doin stupid stuff @ 3-5 a.m., that way, there are 2 cops on duty, and if one so happens to see me, well, hey, there's no one on the roads, and he still hasn't seen my plates :evil2:

actually i'm not kidding about running, but the circumstances have to be just right... as in, he only caught a glimpse of your car while you were going the opposite direction on a 2 lane road (crown vics take 5 pt turns to get turned around on 2 lane road), and he didn't get a chance to turn on his lights... i've only run a couple of times, but they were instances where i knew i could get away b/c i had such a great advantage (nor did the cop get the chance to even turn on his lights), i wouldn't even need to drive fast, just turn into a neighborhood, and keep turning... and i honestly don't think you can get in trouble for running if he doesn't have his lights on... anyhow, i'm prolly coming across as a really stupid person, i guess you'd havta meet me to understand

Usually you can talk to the court and get on some sort of payment plan if you can't pay all of the ticket(s) at once. Good luck getting everything sorted out!
