Yeah, since most car manufactures list HP and TQ figures at the engines crankshaft, the actual power you are putting to the ground can be a bit deceiving. Drive train loss is a bitch, on manual transmissions it can be as high as 20% and on Automatics it's up around 25%. At least that is the old school rule of thumb. I'm not sure where it's at on the newer cars.

this isnt an NA car. turbos dont need "back pressure". the closer you can get to no exhaust on a turbo car, the better.

Like I've heard someone say, “A turbo will provide all the backpressure any engine will ever need”, So after the turbo you want to get the exhaust out of there as fast as possible.

I was commenting that 3" intake pipes are overkill, not a 3" exhaust. If he's only boosting 7psi on stock turbo than 3" intake is way too large/laggy to fill up. Especially when the exhaust can't breathe.
