For most of you screaming do a nice engine rebuild....
Already have done that! check out my rebuild thread lol!
Hopefully im off next time I catch this guy so I can talk to him!

Also this mk3 was a junk mk3 to begin with. Got it and dropped a jdm motor in it and drove around on it for a year. Pulled it and rebuilt it with some awesome internals. I even painted the thing.
Seems few people remember back that far what I actually started off with!

what it use to look like

I don't know. It would really depend on a lot of factors. I've got like $4-5k in my car, and if somebody offered me $6k I'd be hard pressed to sell it. Especially if it's got a built bottom end and such. You've already worked hard to get your car that far, and now you're gonna take the money and start over.

Sell it, buy another MKIII do the 2jz swap, and when the old guy bites the dust. buy it back from them for cheap.

yea the starting over is a pressed thought in my mind. I started this car on a budget and although the parts I have bought maybe slightly out of the meaning budget I still did most of this for under 5k.

Justin, don't be a fool, take the offer if the offer is legit. Take the money & turn around and buy another one that's cherry for a lot less than you got for yours. Hell, JB sold his singled 1J rocket for around $10k, Joe is selling his for $7k - $8k.

That would leave $7k in your pocket, so WTF are you even debating about?

OMGWTFBBQBHG:(

If someone offered me $15,000 for my car, I'd sell it, then buy one identical to it and then have a lot more money to work with.

You lucky bastard. :nono:

I was offered 3 times what I have in mine, but knew $8000 wouldn't get me anything that would make me as happy as my MKIII. I knew I would start over, so I said what's the point, I know whaer this one has been, and I don't want the extra work to get back where I was. I turned it down. You have a lot in that motor, and 15K could replace it and give a little profit, but do you want to have to do it all again. Keep the knowlege that you have built something that somebody would actually pay that much for , and enjoy your car.
