Its an all original 87 924S. It has 85500 carfax certified miles, im the 3rd owner, and i got it for a dam good price. Was crashed and reported, which ruins its value as a rare 100% original porsche, but, thats not something i care about. The only flaw it has is the crash damage, which is bondoed and primed, and as a result the headlights are stuck upright. He crashed it with the lights up, and when turned off, the washer fluid bottle was pushed into the return path the motor stripped out its gears trying to squish the fluid bottle. I have to replace the drive and straighten out the bottle and some other stuff. The car handles extermely well, and the brakes are equally impressive. Its a little down on power like all 80s cars, but enough to be fun. On to pics!!

Here it is with my curent beater DD, also for sale, a v6 camaro.

SOHC 4 banger. 150 hp. Not bad in a 2500lb car.

Interior is clean aside from the cracked dash and worn leather seats, just like a MK3. This car indeed reminds me a lot of my black NA, And it makes me want a supra again very badly.

yes, everything in this car is either different, backwards, upsidedown, etc. Its a nice change from my typical american and japanese cars ive owned. You dont even notice the tach haha. All the german warning labels and european features are cool/weird too. For example, it has a switch so you cant lock the doors with the car on and get locked out. The gas gauge has R for empty, 1/2 and 1/1 for full. And if you leave the left blinker engaged, it leaves the parking lights on(no idea what this is for), and the sunroof is removable. Also the tach reads to 8000(motor redlines at 5500) and the speedo reads to 170(never could go that fast with 150hp). The parking brake is on the left side between the door and seat. The front-back and seat back adjusters are right next to each other near the floor, instead of the back being in the usual spot by your outside hip. It is a very neat little car tho, and is extremely fun to drive around in. And the engine is perfect....super smooth, perfect power delivery, all through the rpms. And from what i hear is a very tough motor aside from the timing belt, like all OHC cars. The entire body is galvanized steel, so it wont rust for years and years. This car retailed for i believe upper 20Gs, 28 or 29,000$ so it better be something nice.

Plus now you can say "Hey baby, I have a Porsche"

You certainly dont need a porsche to use that. :D

"Hey baby, I've got a PorschAH in the shop by my place in Aspen, if it weren't so far away, we could take the Mercedes to see it."

Ten minutes later she comes back...

"I just talked to Jessica and you're an asshole!"

MY buddy had one of those as his first car :( before he beat it to hell and back then finally t-boned a car with it. It was an 87 S, but red. It seemed like it handled very well, and had decent pickup for a little 4 banger auto. I think they weight distribution is very close to 50/50. The car has a rear transaxle iirc, so getting the weight in the right place must have been important.
Have fun with it.

why? the supra is definately faster...

I've proved it on several occasions to some locals with those cars...

I like em cause they're boosted, but porsche reliability and parts price would kill it for me...

The VW with the Porsche badge...2.0litre I4 from an Audi 100, 125bhp and not very pretty :(

Cant say i like it much. A 944Turbo would be more acceptable, or a 928....
my friends dad had a Porsche 914 with a fully build Motor out of a VW bug, damn that thing was quick as hell, ugly but quick!

this has a 155hp porsche built 2.5 liter. Its an S! not a plain 924. The 150 ft lbs of torque is the good part anywho. And yes, Its distributed 52% rear with a driver. Transaxle ftw.

this is when you park on the street. it leaves your left side parking lights on so the car is more visible to traffic.

My benz has this on both sides and even has a rear foglight in the taillights.
