oh this is gonna get good. First off yes I have driven a VTEC under boost (B18C), It was alright, made lots of noise but I wasnt terribly impressed. Especially when I found out how much money it cost to properly build a VTEC engine to run boost.. And congrats on running a 13.4@108. How much did it cost you to run that? I havent had the chance to run mine in the 400M yet. I just purchased my baby. Third no I havent pushed 500 hp in my GA70. But are you seriously gonna tell me that 500- 800 plus HP cant be done on a Supra wether it be a 1g, a 7m, a 1jz or even a 2jz with stock internals? Do you even know anything about the Supra at all? Telling me that just because I haven't done it personally is akin to telling me that just because I dont have a Z06 Vette that it wont run the quarter mile in 11.7. I mean c'mon kid who ya trying to kid here?
Actually I ran 13.4 @104 in Boise Idaho two days ago on all season tires with STOCK internals. The price to get there 2500 including the price of the car and 900 of it was for rebuilding the trans. If you don't beleive me I will post my slip along with my card for the # for the year as well as the # on my car. What is the point of stacking a 4 cylinder motor against a 6 cylinder motor purely on hp rating? I would really like to see you build a car lsX powered car for 2500. Your post saying that Hondas aren't cost effective is irrelevant. Stock b series going for 500 vs. 7m/2j/1j is like comparing potatoes to apples. I can admit the 7m,1j, etc. will get to 500 hp before the civic. I love supras and I love my hondUH I am just tryin to put an end to all of the bs stereo types. Any more questions?
well ok if u really want to spend alot of money on a honda and go fast and look funny in a funny car doin it, then go right ahead. in a supra u go fast and look great doin it. I would rather have a real car. thats why I bought a supra. I had a 2000 kia and a chrysler lebaron before this bolth with 4 cyl POS engines. The Kia was pretty damn quick tho, but as far as 4 cyl ecno engines :bigun2:

The actual car itself means nothing without the owner. I bet if some of those kids in there civics went out and bought supras, they would throw big wings on them and loud mufflers and underglow. Maybe even roof scoops. But i bet if some of us, supra owners, went out and bought civics we would make them damn nice. Watch this video.

Did you even read my post pimpnj253? How is 2500 including the price of a car expensive to get 13s??????? I am not expecting to sway anybody to like Hondas i am just trying to point out facts over fiction. Hondas are not expensive to build.
Well said S383. You should have seen my supra when i bought it. Wing, neon lights (6 hidden through out the car), and so many switches I didn't even want to trace the wires to see what neon light they went too and last but not least home made NNNAAAAAWWWWWSSSS buttons on the steering wheel that when you pushed them the headlights came up lol.

B-series is easy to make fast on a budget but good luck doing that on a K-series(God's Honda motor) I thinks its 6 grand for that motor dont get me wrong one of my future cars is a k24 bottom end with a k20a head in a eg hatch but for 6 grand Id spend it on a 2j for the suppie.

Honestly I would take a 2jz mkIII over a k20 swapped civic and this is coming from a Honda guy.
