Getting the supra back on the road after the accident. Need new tires/brakes badly. Before I go and spend $163 at my local costco out of convenience on some Michelin - Pilot® Exalto® A/S. Can you recommend alternatives/?

stock size is fine, just get a decent tire!!

Tires are the only thing that truely accelerates, steers, and stops you...

I have Kumho Ecsta (forgot submodel). 225/50/16 (stock size). I paid just under 400 for the tires, mounting/balancing. They are really good (from my experiences with them).

I don't know, but mine are all-season tires. But yeah... still suck in snow. Rear wheel drive in general sucks in snow

Kumho Ecsta are great all around tires. I have the AST on the supra and ASX on the 240sx. Good traction in all weather, and low road noise.

LSD diff + snow = easy

Yeah, but LSD diff + snow + torque = AHHHH!!!!!! :aigo: :1zhelp: :aigo:

Haha. It sucks having an auto in snow because you can't shift into a higher gear to get going...

No, not really, it is all about having the correct tires in the snow ;)

I drive my CTS-V all winter long with 400 tq. and drive normal.

True. Hopefully by winter I'll have new wheels for summer and then a set of sawblades with Blizzaks for winter

I really loved the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions, but they're no longer available. I've also used Falken Azenis RT615's and Toyo T1-R's. Both are quite good, not sure what will be going onto the Supra now that the S-03's are dying, but probably T1-R's.

My brother's Supra has Toyo R888's on it, they seem nice as well, but are more track-oriented than I would put on any of my cars.
