Hey guys, looking to get a handful (like 50, never hurts to have extras) of the various interior trim screws in our cars. From what I can tell with my years of supplying hardware to Home Depot, the majority of what I've seen is a #8x5/8-3/4 sheet metal screw.

However, the head on the Supra screws seems different than your regular pan head philips screw. Seems more like what's known as a truss head screw (basically a pan head with a washer built in), but the only truss head screws I've been able to find don't have quite the right thread pitch/angle.

So, kinda throwing this out there, but has anyone found a good source for these? I know I'm missing a handful, I think my car eats them just to be a pain. :nono:

Yes, I have thought to call Toyota, but common sense tells me my wallet won't like paying $3 per screw.

Good qeustion: well, how about trying here or junk yard. I assume they don't have them at "Nuts R Us"/
Your car is eating them? Check the tail pipe maybe they are there. Put your car on a nut diet.:3d_frown:

Hmm, maybe I'll go strip the shit out of all the Camrys out at the junkyard here. Oddly enough, it seems that Camrys are about the only Toyotas in yards around here. NO Corollas, NO pickups, NO Supras, and like ONE 2nd gen Celica. Thanks for the suggestions guys, if I ever come across a better source, I'll post an update. :)
