Hello..I am the proud new parent of an 87 turbo with just over 80,000 original miles on it. The car is in great shape, I bought it from a friend who got it from the original owner who was an older gentleman and babied the hell out of it. It is currently stock with a Blits sus intake. My friend had ideas of upgrading further so he had the hg replaced at about 75,000 miles and the bolts re-torqued to 72 ft/lbs. I have done my fair share of research and am very familiar with the mk3 and its ups and few downs and I would love to upgrade this car myself but lack a garage and the proper tools to do so. I am looking for a good mechanic or performance shop in San Diego and don't seem to be having too much luck finding anybody who is very familiar with the 7m. Can anybody recommend a reputable shop in San Diego or southern California for general maintenence as well as performance upgrades?? Many thanks.

Ive got a blitz sus airfilter on my 7m and boy do they make some nice suction sounds.

Thanks Miggles, I hear ya....I am addicted to that sound...like music to my ears. I cant wait for my dp and exhaust, should sound amazing then....
