Aftermarket turbo could be a lot of things. You are not going to find an answer to your question. It could be 300 or 500. But why stock internals if you are looking for power?

Well i need good parts resources on the internals, im trying to git as much info as i can. Sorry about the broad question! Im new at this supremania. The motor is a na right now but im looking at turbo systems and a megasquirt2 system. Any advice would be great! I have 2 7mge motors one in the 89 supra and one motor from a cresida i think. The one in the car has a worped head beyond repair.

save yourself a shit-ton of money and swap engines, to be brutally honest. itll cost just as much to turbo an na correctly as it does to swap to a 7mgte or a 1j

Yeah, from what I've read just drop a 7mgte motor in with the right ECU. Then get the Stock Turbo rebuilt by Driftmotion.com to a 57trim, Lex AFM body, and 550cc injectors and you can produce a strong 400rwhp? numbers.

or is it 400crank hp? haven't had this answered yet.

400 is doable on a 57 trim.. However, a few more mods may be needed. IE.. AFPR, Wideband, Possibly a bigger IC, IC pipes and a somewhat decent tune..

What the hell kind of thread is this? Good numbers for an engine without any specific type of parts? Wow so many variables .... you get an early x-mas gift from me :slap:

lets see a stock ct26 should be some where close to 300rwhp

upgraded ct26 hmmm 350-420(ish)rwhp

bigger turbo hmmm as much you want until a rod comes out of the block

Most of them are in my sig.. I have 550's and a built bottom end.. (need to update sig) I agree with you though this thread is so vague... I was actually replying to James' post.

1st off, welcome, second you want 500ish rwhp, not hard, so 1st step is do a gte swap or 2j then build the bottom end with all forged parts stock is only good to 400 but i would not push them to that, second setep would be to get some sort of boost controler new IC i would get a nice oil cooler too to keep your oil happy then you go for trany stuff cause you can have power to the crank. but it can all go to poop if your trany is not happy..

any questions ?
