Hey every one so i have a bad some what bad oil leak And i think i have sourced it to the line that comes from the turbo to the block.

My question is where is the best place to find this part and how much does it run on avg. I am looking around a bit but i guess im just a idiot lol.

Also today i noticed the the oil pressure seemed low i am sure that it is because of this leak ? I was just wondering on what your thoughts were on that statement It was running fine for awhile with the leak until today it seemed like the leak is getting worse and the pressure seems lower then normal.

The car has not been driven much at all like this just started everyday..

Also the car a couple gays ago suddenly started jerking around when in gear after being driven for 60 or so miles parked it for a couple days drove it today about 15-20miles to friends house (has AC garage) and it didn't do it at all only thing that seemed wrong was oil pressure seemed alittle low today.

Thanks in advance

You can get SS braided lines from driftmotion that replace both the feed and drain lines.

If the leak is bad enough I guess it could lower your oil pressure.

The leak would have to be so bad that it would pump out all your oil in seconds too effect oil pressure!

By low oil pressure what's your idle pressure and 3000rpm pressure?

You also don't need a new hardpipe from the turbo too block just the gaskets! I can't help but notice the lack of common sense in this thread...I'm not trying to be an asshole but seriously man! Think before you post and if you're bitching about oil pressure then atleast tell us what psi your system is at!!! The online tsrm (which you better know by now) tells you what Toyota expects oil pressure to be within from the factory!

I've got like 4 oil feed/drain pipes for the stock ct-26....most people here gave them laying around also...either buy one from us or go too "TOYOTA" as they built the fucking car...where else do you think you'll find parts??? Ford???

................I was asking opions that's all. Whats the point in talking down on people like that?

And yea the oil pressure (Stock gauge) it is normally higher then it is now i see where it is running every day and it is a bit lower.

About 33lbs at 55 mph normally abit higher and at idle it was lower then it should be or has been since ive had it. Also my can only idles at 650 when warm i think it should be higher but haven't had car long.

Also sometimes it tends to run only at 500 rpms and starts pinging and then return back to normal.

I have not had the chance to drive it much due to personal reason's so sorry for lack of description but i will let you know anything you think will help just ask and i will try and figure it out. Sorry again.

650rpm at idle is about perfect..650-700 is normal (tsrm tells you this!!)...what's your oil pressure?

I don't want too know oil pressure at speed I want rpm! Oil pressure is rpm dependent not speed!

I'm not talking down on you...I'm trying to point out how bad you asked a question and expect answers...you must supply as much detail surrounding a problem as we can get a clue where you stand! Telling us you have low oil pressure is pissing in the wind!

You personally seem to ask these impossible to answer questions often without giving details and without doing any research of your own ahead of time...why?

Help us help you...you know damn well there is a "wanted mkiii parts" section within this forum so why would you ask "where can I get a turbo oil drain/feed pipe"? Seriously man...just try to put some effort in your posts without expecting us to kiss your ass and tell you the obvious!

33-34 @ 2100-2200 rpms normal for the car until today 37-38. and at idle its lower then normal cant say as the gauge is hard to tell when its low number wise..

What weight oil are you using

hot engine readings are the ones that matter

what's your best guess at idle psi

what psi at 3000rpm

So far if those pressures are with a hot engine with proper oil then Jesus god man you oil pressure is fantastic!

ok so my car is taken apart right now to do the oil line and some other things.

Yesterday those numbers were taken when it was warm at idle (650rpm)
(I have gauge that reads 40-80-120) the first line does not have a number between 0 and 40 assuming it is 20 i would say it was running at 8lbs of pressure and from what i noticed ive never seen it lower then 13-15lbs at idle.

And driving around 2200rpm normal that i have seen is 38lbs not 33lbs so i was just going off of what it normally ran and didn't understand why it would just change after being consistent since i have had it.
