Good paint shop in tampa fl.

I am looking for a good paint shop in the Tampa/Clearwater Florida area.

I have decided on Black metal flake. But I dont want a crappy macco job. I dont mind spending to get a good job done. Anyone know a good place that can give me a quote?

They've painted 2 of my Supras.... fixed the dings, painted the molding to match, clearcoated, and guaranteed against chipping, etc for 4 years.... Less than $500..... Been a few years tho, I'm sure it's probably a lil' more now.

Here's my 87T about a year after its repaint....Over on the Courtney Campbell Causeway...

Ok.. Just to let everyone know I also called Ronnie Setser's Custom Paint
. They quoted me about $4,000.00 over the phone for black metal flake... :cry:

thats about on par for a full custom job with all the proper prep work. paint job is only as good as the prep that goes into it. hence why plan to do all the work myself.

Dang... that's too bad. He and his wife ran the place and were kewl ppl. Recommended them to a botload of locals out there. They did my 86.5 all black for ~$400 (w/integrated clear...).

The 87T they did for $450 with a 2 step clearcoat deal. That integrated clear stuff did not last too long on the 86.5 (but I ended up parting it out anyways).

They must've sold the shop, I guess.... Hell maybe they went out of business 'cause they didn't charge enough ;-)

~$4K will buy me another Supra and swap engine set ;-) We plan to prep my 90T and paint it ourselves (along with the 2000 Mitsu Galant which is also black)... wish me luck!

is that 86.5n/a you parted out the one that modded pacesetter header came from i bought from you right before you moved? i remmeber you had a 3in exhaust on that thing and then put it on your new mkiiit you got when the n/a got the hole in the block mod. anyway, you asked then did i have a 7m swap, i didnt, but less then a year later i did. hehehe. (btw, i picked up the header driving my deep maroon aka brown 85)

I didn't say that they were cheap by any means, but it will be flawless and show quality.

Another one that does do really good work, but I am not sure of there prices cause I have only delt with them for insurance clam work is
