might be easier to just have them welded together for 50$ ? maybe less...

might be a bit hard to flare... more than its worth at least... not necessary on stock boost really as long as the clamps are tight enough. just clamp and cut with a hacksaw until you can get them welded if money is an issue :) thats what i did

Hmm, I think I might go that route, a 2.5" unversal pipe kit huh? Wouldn't a 2.75" be better?

Im could hook it up to the stock intercooler for not till I get the money for a nice one.

So your saying go with this kit for piping, then use a spearco style intercooler? I like that idea alot. It's a more expensive way to go, but it works better.

No....Buy a spearco style intercooler and you could buy a 2.5" piping kit and make it all work. Will cost you alot less and do the job.

2.5" should be good enough. People have used 2.5" and made 400 rwhp.

You can get similar piping kits like this.

Have a bead welded on. I'm going to try and use only one silicone coupler (at the intake hole) besides the end connections and have the rest welded together to minimize possible leak points. Would also be a good time to have a bov flange welded on.

Yeah I bought the kit off ebay with the tubes rolled beaded already.
I machined my own flange for the BOV and my welder friend welded it for free.

So by using the pipe kit, a spearco replica, and a bov, this will put me at about $500ish range... more than I was expecting to spend, but it will work...

or you can buy the pipes seperate... individually or even buy used one from some of our members... 200 ish for spearco rep (bought mine from driftmotion) pipes 20 -60$ used or if you keep stock pipes and just fit it to work less than that (i think i spent 30 to fit it to stock pipes at first with clamps and connectors reducers etc) you can keep stock bypass valve to be real cheap :) they dont work that bad, or use 2 of them

Is there a BOV that sounds like out bypass valve? I LOVE the sound of them.

Is that including the price of a BOV?

I could always add a bov later. I'm only at 10 or 12psi, so a BOV isn't a big deal right now.

Mine came to about $560 after shipping for the ic(spearco rep. 3.5" core) and pipes I posted above plus a Tial bov. All 3 were brand new though so I'm sure you can save about $100 with a used or replica bov.

as in the stock bov when its uncirculated and loud? the hks does if you take the fin out thats the only one i have personal experience with minus the hks replica but that thing is junk. i recently put back on stock bov and recirculated it with stock instake so i cant hear any bov sound anymore heh except the sound of air rushing through the new hoses i got for it didnt want to hastle with the recirculation on the hks anymore heh

I wont buy a replica bov or any ebay junk, they leak and it's not worth it.

What about his one from 935?

Theres no pics though :3d_frown:

I'll have to ask if it's a same side intercooler, hopefully it is. Good price imo

Next week I'll have funds for a complete intercooler kit. So this week I gotta make up my mind which to get, lol, soooo many choises and all sound good.
