Good luck to Noah, Justin, BJ, Jean, and all the other guys on the coast, or in Nola and surrounding area. Looks like its going to get rough.

If evacuating north, swing by brookhaven on I55, we'll get some food or something.

Again, good luck, and be careful.

Yeah, the weather forcasters are all shocked that it's gotten so strong so fast... We're probably going to feel it here in the DFW area with heavy rains and storms.

At least this time they aren't pussyfooting around with trying to get people to evacuate this time...

Looks like once again GWB powered up his weather machine to keep all of the minorities in 'Nawlins down.

I hope this made someone laugh.

Good luck to all who leave, and all who stay. Hurricanes suck, and I hope everyone makes out as well as they can on this.

Bands of Gustav have already started skirting Florida, the rain and wind have been off and on today. I got caught in a nasty downpour and couldn't see a damn thing, everyone doing 10mph with their wipers on max. Due to being saturated by Fay, this is gonna be bad for us as well and then we have to worry about Hanna too, yay

Hey, I lived in Florida for the first 12 years of my life, I'd rather have hurricanes than the hail and tornadoes here that come out of nowhere.

We'll see on the next TX meet, kinda lost interest in my car after the breakup...

All jokes aside, those directly in harms way, bunker down and arm up. :icon_evil

saw that shit on SF... lol

I personally think if NO takes another big hit, they should just move the city somewhere else, start fresh, bust the leeve and turn it into a lake. Nature is going to take it away eventually, stop fighting it. Below sea level and surrounded by water is a bad situation.

and more on the way...

Is the third on the right the tropical wave they are expecting development out of, or just storm activity...

This shit is getting rediculous.

NO is a product of not allowing nature to take it's course. The river is supposed to flood every year and bring silt to keep that land up, with all the dams it doesn't...

It's why around here they got smart and left natural flood plains because they know if they try and contain all the water it will just break out and destroy everything in it's path...
