Golden Gardens is just a nice Washington state beachfront park.:icon_razz It has bbq grills, picnic tables and whatnot, also a large parking lot. Unfortunately, it is usually very crowded, but everywhere is crowded nowdays! I know Steve is a great Supra guy, and a nice guy to boot, however he is a MkIV owner. I really wanted this just to be MkIII cars only. I've heard other MkIII owners say that they would go to more meets, if the "stuck up" MkIV guys weren't there. There are plenty of cool ones (owners) but some MkIII peeps are uncomfortable because there cars are a "little rough around the edges". I'm not trying to devide the community, just trying to get a few MkIII's out together, without feeling overshadowed by $40,000-$70,000 Supra's:aigo:

Absolutely!:icon_bigg I just saw another black 91-92 Supra last night down by Valley/Meridian Ave. in Puyallup last night, but I was in my work truck, and couldn't chase him down to talk to him.:icon_frow Very clean car w/ gunmetal stock 5 spokers. If you know anyone else that wants to mob out, by all means let them know about our plans. It looks like Sunday (25th) is going to be the better day for me.:icon_razz

All I need to do is bolt up the intake mani/ISC/fit throttle cable up, and then cut/fit the piping from FMIC to FFIM and I will be ready.. Probably like... well sounds like 2 hours of work but knowing my skills probably a good 5-6 solid hours of putting everything back together before it's driveable.

So I would put that at about Sunday; however that time isn't good for me as my wife doesn't leave for work until 3:30.. I'll see what I can get out of her!

We could still do Saturday, I'll have to wait to see how many more people respond at all. Right now it looks like about 5 of us. I was hoping to get to 10. I think I'll put up a drop dead day of Wednesday the 21st. Even if I can't get 10 people to fully commit, and the weather is nice(?):aigo: I'm still going to head out on some sort of drive!
Karl's problem with the car being an Auto is fixable! Mine used to be. There is also a TH 400 swap kit available now too.

i have no idea what ur talkin about when u talk about that engine kinda shit!

he's talking about a GM transmission that comes with an adapter for our cars, bassically an auto that can handle tons more hp than a stock toy auto. Hang out here long enough you'll be typing in code like the FFIM guys and BHG gurus with their RK and their SAFC with FCD equiped Supes

tom: i am still 50/50 on wether or not i will be able to go, if we do this sat i will go solo, but if we go sunday my dad is saying he wants to come allong so i can drive him to the dealerships to find a truck. That means i have to deal with about 8 hours of "your driving to fast!" "slow down", "your going to break your differential if you keep hitting 3k rpm!", if i bring him we can show him what it takes to break our cars:icon_evil

Well my job just decided for me. Sunday is going to be the better day for me, as I will probably have to work again next Saturday, like I am tonight.:icon_mad: I will make the decision on whether to call it any kind of meet, on Wednesday. I'd sure like to see more interest than what has been shown, but, just being able to see Nate's beast,(Supra only Nate!:biglaugh:) it'd be worth driving anywhere for!

The 18th or the 25th?

There you are! The 25th. Like I said, if we can scrape together a few more, it would be a nice turnout. I have been seeing alot of MkIII's out and about recently. Ant time I'm in my Supra, I will usually follow them and find out if they know about the forums.

You're not scared of the SS are you ;)

Looks like Sunday will be better for me anyhow. I'm thinking it'll fire up for the first time next Saturday. If it doesn't, then I'll probably be working on it Sunday too :aigo: It will be done for Suprafest for sure though :bigthumb:

Well, this is not looking too good, as far as car count goes.:3d_frown: Still up for some kind of cruising, but I don't know if we could attach a "Supra meet" tag to it. I plan on being up at the Federal Way Costco, (on Enchanted Parkway) at about noon Sunday. If any other Supra's show up by 12:30 we'll take off for Issaquah via Hwy 18, and then the Issaquah-Hobart road route.:naughty:The weather is supposed to be awesome, so let's get those Sup's out there!:icon_razz
