Im going through serious withdrawls (sp?).

I really really want my mazda rx7 back. I loved it so much, and when i sold it i was all good, cause i could get the supra!

But now i think i may put the supra on the back burner, and buy another Rx7.

I know its probably not a good idea, but is this normal for me?:icon_razz

serisouly though, ive been posting on rx7 forums jsut as much as here, and i think i really want one. What are your thoughts guys.

If i do buy one, the supra would be kept the way it sits know and droven like it is. The rx7 would be a full out SCCA race car.

idk.....

You're bound to feel this way with anything you have given up that you loved deeply. When I sold my 92 turbo and watched the new owners slowly drive it off my street on a crystal clear dusk that fine summer's night, I was crying inside, and it makes me tear up thinking about it again. I wanted to replace it asap, but got a different car. It left me but the past year I've wanted another supra so bad. You'll feel this way for awhile, then chalk it up to another part of life, but if you really cared about the car you'll end up getting another one either way. Be it now, or later.

if its gonna be an all out scca car...it won't be daily driven...so go for it..you'll still have a car that's faster for your DD...rx-7s = slow..but nimble

How deep are your pockets?

Ive got about 6 grand to play with. I might get one, deck it out and make it real light weight (more than it already is) and jsut SCCA it.

But that would leave the supra as it sits now and to be driven everyday.

If i dont go through the rxSeven- the supra would go through a turbo swap this summer and get the whole treatment.

read the other post i did we posted same time.. i have drove a rx7 but it was a tt and a 94..

It looked pretty close to this, not as BEAST as this one, but still, mine was really clean and the guy before me definatly dumped a lot of money in after market stuff for it.

It didn't look exactly like that,

It was black, had a very similar body-kit, and wing, a huge carburator, exhaust, headers, and it was a real fun car to drive and realyl really easy to work on!

Im starting to seriously miss it....i think its time to go sit in the supra and make some vrooom noises....bbl

that's a tough descision, but I would just build the Supra.... I drove an 88 RX-7 convertible, and it was BOMB, buuut i could barely fit in it (im 6'4.5") so i got back to to my Supra and slid in easily and comfortably...

gwahahah those old rx-7 are sure fun as hell. i drove a 84 RX7 GXL or something liek it? ANyway that motor was jokes. sounded like a wheed whacker :D
Oh and i was going through a withdrawal with the supra as well. i was kind of wanting to get a Mark4 in 3 years versus a mark 3 at my time. Sometimes i DO regret it, but on the other hand, i got accepted to uni and my plans changed. mark 4 GTE DD and there will be a Mark 3 800 HP 7m in my garage someday :D
