I really don't have mechanical experience. I can take stuff off and put it back on. Pretty simple simple stuff i can do. Ive been looking at some turbo kits, one off ebay and the xs kit. Maybe A diagram/instructions can help if I attempt this on my own. One thing I wouldnt want to do is the piggy back, dont think i can screw with the wiring like that.

Is that pretty much the basic idea? Anyone with a better diagram?

Thanks..... thats a better instruction manual. Ill see how much they have kits for. Whats confusing me is about the DP.... its not welded to the back of the turbo, its held together by gear clamps?! Same goes for the IC piping?

its a v-band. two fittings welded together held on by a clamp... i wouldnt recommend doing it to IC pipes... its possible but unlikely...

Ok correct me if im wrong... a vband is like a little protruding lip off the pipe. So say one side has a lip and the turbo had a lip (maybe???) then you use the vband clamp to lock them in place?

thats correct.. Most normal turbos dont have the V-band on the intercooler pipe side, just a regular hose and clamp

Yea I saw that.... just looked at pics of turbos. I got the concept down. I pretty much have an idea how it will all hook up. Now I have to read up on the oil return, boost controller, bov. Im learning...
