The rear mounts are different even between the two manuals in some cases the auto for sure is different.

There is different letters stamped like "A" "B" "C"on the tranny mount.
As far as the clutch w58/R154 the pedal reservoir hardlines are the same but there is a difference i think from around 90+ the clutch master cylinder is aluminum on 90+ pre 90 is steel also the hardline comes off of the master cylinder on a different side so they are also different at the year 1990.

I'm still confused on whats different from tranny to tranny? Is it the tranny mount (has the rubber bushing) or the Tranny brace (the crossmember)?

My Tranny brace has an "A" on it. Came off my A340e. But I need one for a W58. Or will it work as long as I get the right tranny brace?
