i stoped by the shop again and got a couple of pics.

heres the heart of the beast..... all sad looking.

my busted ass turbo... my guess is the nitrous the guy used on it chewed it up...

this is the pcv pipe coming from the valve cover.. it all full of this vanilla pudding looking goop.... nasty. this crap is all inside the engine and radiator... i hope it will all come out of the radiator.. if not i got more probs.

heres the car sitting with 3 other supras... its like a reunion thing lol.... more to come soon.

i went by the shop again the other day and got a few pics.. turns out my block is cracked in the wierdest place... i have never seen a block cracked like this b4. also got a few pics of the head and the turbo.... heres some pics.

hard to see it in this one but look close.

notice all the cracks around all the cylinders??? im guessing its from the guy before who sprayed nitrous on it all the time... glad i got a new block.. more pics after the head gets back from the machine shop... hoping its not warped to bad .

Good luck eith your "blackout" project! My project is very similar. Just about everything will be black except for the paint, I am going to leave it white. I am not sure not if you are doing anything with the interior but if you need any help finding black replacement carpet PM and I will send you th website where i ordered mne from.

sweet we will be like twins but with different colors ha! i will get up with you about the carpet when i get to that stage.. thx hey when we get done we'll have to meet up somewhere. seein as how you live in atl and i live in asheville....
ha and i see that you have a v6 camry too lol my wife has a 4cyl one also. lol thats awesome.

i meant that she has a v6 and a 4cyl. sorry... mine is a white package 89t right now it may be a little bit before i can paint it. so we may have identical cars for a while. lol

i talked to the guy from the shop and found ou tthat my head is warped all to hell.... so bad that if they try to smooth it out it would take almost 2 hg's to make it fit right... lol so i bought another head instead. it will be getting all the machine work this week. i'll post pics asap. also i found out that my car has a centerforce racing clutch in it also. lol sweet. i'll post pics soon. i also painted some things for the engine using high temp paint. 3k pipe upper and lower intake runners, under drive pulley, valve covers. here are some pics of these... i will be putting the stripes black on the valve covers and the numbers on the 3k pipe also.

not the best in the world but it will work for now.

went by the shop again, seems like the machine shop is a little backed up so my head should be done this week and then......the motor goes back together.. will be posting pics of the new turbo..... and a few parts.... more to come soon...thanx for looking.

Just a heads up I'm doing my car completely blacked out as well... only diff is its going to be pre-89. I already got the tail light tint.. and I'll be painting it myself in fall along w/ tinting ect. Blacked out ftw.

yeah im gonna do the interior but i truly havent figured out what scheme i wanna go with. i kinda second guessing the black paint. cuz its so damn hard to keep clean. but i will keep you guys posted as to what im doing. thx

Yeah I'm painting / dying my interior black. Actually I might end up re-upholstering the seats to black leather to make sure they last longer.

I vote white body, blacked out everything else. I want to do that, so I'm obviously biased, but I think it'd look amazing.

i think the main reason for me wanting a different color is the fact that every supra i have owned has been white! with the exception of 1 and it wasnt even drivable. so im gonna change it to something else... as far as my seats go i will prob have them redone by some one else or if i get bored i may redo them myself. not sure yet but it will be a fun trip...
