btw nice run, few people will actually put up instead of shutting up in a newer car like the gto.
most of the guys i run into with high hp muscle cars built in the last 5 years are retired, or cops in interceptors.

Thanks you guys! I was surprised because the V-8 is supposed to have monster torque. :wtf: I was thinking, that he'd pull me pretty bad untill I was up in the revs pretty high, but I walked him from the roll (20mph or so) It was great to hear him shifting the hell outta' it, hoping he'd have a little more to put him over the top! :x: I'll never under estimate the Supra's capabilities, ever again. :nono:

goood kill. people with these muscle cars shouldn't under estimate about what our cars can do just because it's an import, guess sometimes we just have to show them that we got what it takes to run with them too
I remember racing against V8's all the time in my 91 with bolt ons.... i did lose to 3 V8's though: Saleen Mustang supercharged one, Firebird ws-6, and an LS1 Camaro (plus I missed 3rd gear)... But that doesnt matter when my V8 kill list had more than 10 cars (mostly mustangs and ppl in Bird's and Camels that didnt know how to drive) Awesome kill though man.
Friend of mine has a 98 cobra with bassani X pipe, slp bullets and cai. He said i can't touch his cobra from a roll.

I gave a new GTO 2 lengths, was ahead of him by 2 lengths, at the track before i smoked my turbo and that was at 12 boost, he was so pissed he would not even speak to me, he had an intake and some other bolt on stuff, did an impressive burnout, but i still smoked him properly.
