I won't go into how I figured this out, but a few nights ago I put our desktop computer in the shower(unplugged of course) for a good 5 mins due to "overuse" at innoproperate times. It was later recovered and set on the table just dripping wet. The next day, I was like shit... now how am I going to check my email at home??
So i take it alllll apart. Even the CPU off the motherboard and start drying it all out with a hairdryer. It took a good 30mins to get all traces of water out. Mind you, now its really clean, no more dust lol...
So after drying it allllll out, putting it back together (emachines desktop), it fired up and works perfectly. It actually is kinda faster during normal everyday operation!
lol
