Ok, Ive finally got to the point where I've started my semi-build. It actually fired up fairly easy, not too many problems although I was wondering if anybody can help me with a few questions.

First one is Im having problems with the TPS, Im using a FFIM and a Q45, I now have the wiring correct, I just need some help on how to ajust this one, is there anything different from the supra TPS? Right now its idling smooth but my AFR's are all over the place because the TPS is out of wack.

Second, Im pulling a code for the HAC sensor (32), did the NA's come with HAC sensors because i dont remember plugging one in, also what does the plug look like?
Any tips or pointers would be great.

such a n00b..lol just kiddin jesse but the HAC sensor sits on the ecu for pre 89 supras so if u dont have one then thats probably why its givin u that code.i have one if u need it maybe we can trade for it....egr block offs?...lol. as far as the ffim goes....i dont have a clue but i had a feeling u would run into an issue involving that.

yeah, i know where its at but would you know what the plug looks like? I dont have a problem with the FFIM its getting the Q45 calibrated. Im on the right track though, ive got the Correct wiring for the TPS now, and im working on getting the idle down to normal, the throttle stop screw was set way too high. Once I get that fully set I can then set the timing and should be good to go. Other than the high idle right now its running really smooth, no knocking, valve tic or anything else.

regaurding TPS issue, simply jump the terminals and extract codes, if you see code 51 then its not set right and you need to rotate it until the 51 stops blinking.

yeah, i know I could do that, but im talking about calibrating it so its right on I dont want to guess, im not sure how much different it is with a multimeter than the supra TPS

every system is different. You just need to be sure its between 0-1V closed throttle w/o setting code 51. There's no exact voltage its going to be at, its either making contact or not. Mine personally is .565V, if i set it to .570 (which is just barely moving it) i set off code 51.
