While the 2jz is getting moved over to her new home, I'd like to address the lack of cruise control. What I'm wanting to know/have is a diagram of which wire that I need as a source to grab the signal.

engine mgmt - stock auto ecu from aristo
stock tranny out of aristo

using the 7m cruise control unit.

I think you'll just need to adapt the cable from the 7m system to the 2j tb (might need to extend the cable too).

This is what did, works fine. I had the cruise control for the 7MGTE, the one from an NA won't play nice with a boosted engine. Also the throttle tip-in is a bit more aggressive on the 2JZ, so when the CC is trying to reach the set speed the engine might surge a few times before it lands on the correct speed.

Don't know if my NA was a freak built out of left over parts at Toyota but it came with the GTE CC Vacuum pump and map sensor.

I also run an NA Vacuum Reservoir and plumb it between the Intake and CC Motor to help with the above scenario.

Nope, for some reason RHD Australian N/A's have the pump.

Not 100% sure why, they're not the only place that had it, but it is somewhat strange. Perhaps there is another system on the car using a lot of the potential vacuum? (Evap or something?)

Cable was done long ago

So did you change any wiring?

Ok. Will do a little more reseach on the difference in signals.
