I know I ask alot of questions, I try to give back as much as I ask...

So Im getting this car for next to nothing, its in GREAT condition, 120k miles, its my friends moms car, shes getting a new one, she got it NEW haha. Back and forth to work, kept up with. Anyways, I heard people dropping GEs and GTEs in this thing, is that possible?

Aside from that, are these things any good for anything other than a great DD? What are some interesting points to make about them? Its automatic btw.

AE92 fwd......4age red top engine as I recall. Look real hard at the wheel wells and in the trunk. Anyway I think the engine you are thinking of to drop in is the 4AGZE out of the supercharged mr2 or jdm corollas. There are so many different versions of the 4age. dorikaze.com is a good place to join if you are looking to get some corolla help. Same style of community as SM!

yes a 1jz, a 2jz and a 7mgte have all been dropped in older corollas, but I also read that the power is too much for them and the drive is scary as hell, I might look into that.

I dont wanna say how much Im getting it for, but I cant wait, I just wanna change the wheels, and maybe get it painted, other than that his mom kept it NICE, automatic but HEY, who gives a fuck! Im just sick of this corsica and wanting $500 for my supras engine, I want it running most of all. Once I get the rolla, Im gonna begin my build, 1JZ or 7MGTE, havent decided.

If you want a nice drop-in setup, go for a late-model AE92 or AE101 4A-GZE front clip from Japan, you'll get 165-170hp, and the appropriate tranny/axles to support the power.

All Corollas from 88 on are FWD.

I will JDI, but when the supra runs again, I will be playing with the corolla. Since I got my supra I fell in love with Toyotas, mostly older ones. I just want it to be a NICE corolla when Im done with it, not all aftermarket bs, but just something clean and nice to drive.
