or how about going na-t

Dude. Do you have ADD? Calm down and settle into what you have, then plan out what you want. How long have you even had the 86.5? A week? Two? Just relax bro...

Edit: 8 months. I had mine over a year and a half before I got this ansy.

I had my Na for a bout a year before I swapped my gte in.

Like I said before the cost of a motor swap (if you do it yourself) is a lot cheaper than redoing paint and interior. So look at these variables:

1. It's an auto yours is a 5spd - what would you prefer *I know swaps can be done, and i'm running my w58 for now untill I can find a good r154, clutch holds fine

2. Is one of them targa? If both are ht or both targa, disregard.. if yours is a targa and you like the targa, your going to miss it if the turbo is a hard top.

3. How does the body look compared to yours.. do you like the colour?

4. How does the interior look.. again, how do you like the colour?

5. Does it have lower miles?

The chasis itself is usually more important than the engine inside of it. engines can be swapped..

The only reason I swapped my NA to 5 speed is because it was slow as shit without it, it was still slow as shit with a 5 speed, but it was a little better.

I love automaticness in certin cars, and the Supra is one I can accept it in.

The need for a 5 speed is close to the small man complex. I can put away a Big Mac extra value meal in rush hour, without the hassle that you endure.

Or talking on cell phones while negotiating traffic? ;)

OT: I think it would be a smart thing to have any teenager first learning to drive to use a manual tranny as it's much harder to do the extra things you can do in an auto versus the manual. Hopefully it would make them better drivers in the long run...

My 86.5 N/A 5spd will eat your 89 Turbo Auto any day of the week.

No shit. :evil2:
You, my friend, have not tangled with the right 89 turbo auto, when you can give a new GTO with an intake a 2 length spanking not once, but twice, and the driver of the GTO wanted to fight about it, you obviously have not met up with a worthy auto turbo supra.
