quick question, generally speaking are all temp senders the same? EDIT: lets rephrase this. I have a greddy temp guage and the sender is too long for the stock waterneck (the part that detects the temp) now the last time i really worked with temp senders was back in HS when i was big into watercooling and overclocking computers and they were all the same parts basically. is that still true with water temp guages? cause prosport sells one with a lower profile probe.

Crap shoot was a poor choice of words. Most gages need to be matched to the sender because of different calibration curves and gage design type. The odds are against this working. If you can get the specs for the ProSport sender and compare them to the Greddy you could save yourself possible grief.
