i leaned on my shroud and it broke... does anyone have any key evidence or proof of the shroud actually doing anything? im not argueing with you folk, just challenging the idea. i know some things are there for a reason, but sometimes things just arent needed. EGR

There's someone on here (I bet more than just one) who made their own shroud from AL (looked damn good too). He even made provisions for his AC fans. I'm probably going to try this method, my dad has a break for bending metal, it should do the trick .

I think a better group buy would be for a plate/sticker/badge to put on the top of the fan shroud that says "Do NOT lean on this!" and in smaller letters underneath that "You Break It You Bought It". Hmmmm maybe even connect it up to the battery so they get a nice jolt if they even touch it.
