Hey, I just bought an extra intake manifold for a 2JZGE and it looks a little different from the one that I'm using now. The main difference I notice is that the injectors and injector ports look different. Can anybody tell me what the deal is? Is this a JDM 2JZGE intake manifold? And whats the tube sticking straight up used for?

It's just weird. Here are a couple pics of mine. The 1st one is a pic of the exact spot where that tube is but you can see I don't have one. Also Scott, what did you do with that tube, and what is it for? Also how did you're injectors fit into yours? Did you have to use any different seals?

Weird! I've never seen one without it.
I pulled the tube out, and tapped it. then I put a short bolt into it. I believe the tube was for the IACV, I can't remember, if it wasn't that, it was for PCV vac.
I had a hard time getting the injectors to seal, I ended up buying a pack of assorted fuel safe o-rings and matching them until it sealed.

Looks to me that it is some type of emissions set up. I would found out what was connected on that tube and rubber hose.

So I'm guessing both IAC and non IAC lower intake manifolds bolt up the same to the head and the upper intake manifold.
I just want to make sure that this new one I got will bolt up to all GE (non vvti) heads and upper intake manifolds.
Also, I just need to make sure that the injector seals past the IAC stuff right?
