GE and GTE oil pump difference?

I am rebuilding my engine this winter and was wondering what the difference is between the GTE and GE oil pumps.. i am guessing that the GTE oil pump is just a higher oil pressure since it goes through an oil cooler? I have a GE motor and am wondering if a GTE oil pump will be fine to use. Thanks

Supposedly the GTE pump is higher volume, and is an upgrade for an NA motor. Just dont use an NA pump on a GTE

i'm using one of Driftmotion's worked over oil pumps on my GE with no problems whatsoever. also got the larger hose.

Fact, it is a larger displacement pump.
The gears are longer by about (going from memory here) 5mm.
