***UPDATED!!! Mocked up pictures here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1182605&postcount=26 ***

As some of you know, I had my Gracer bumper modified for a Pre-89 Look :

This thread is to gauge if there is any interest for these bumpers to be made. So Pre-89 guys, here is a good way to keep your Pre-89 look and have an awesome bumper!

BUT, there is also the option of a seperate Gracer Style bumper. It's a one-off that is willing to be made available to the community if there is enough interest. If there is enough interest, the big question will be, keep it Pre-89 Style or Leave it 89+.

Here is the Stock Gracer, modified for a Pre-89 Look:

Top is Modified Gracer, Bottom one is the Custom Gracer Type 2:

If there is enough interest for one of these to be made, i will ask permission to get a group buy going. Remember, if there isn't enough interest, these wont be made, and the one-off will be locked away forever!

If you are interested, which one? And your thoughts on either of them? We'll need about 10 people to get the ball rolling on this.

I would be interested in seeing the Gracer Type 2 mocked up. Especially a side view so that I can see how low it is.

Without seeing anything on a car I can say I would 100% get the pre-89 normal Gracer as soon as it was available. I would sell my car if I had to haha.

I would also RATHER have the Type 2 with the pre-89 look. But if that's not an option then I can modify it as necessary.

Qeustion one: What is it gonna be made from??

Qeustion two: $$$$$$$$$$??????????

1. Don't quote me on this, but i THINK it will be fiberglass.
2. Not too sure, it's early, but will be less than the other counterparts.

We're hopefully going to get it mocked up by this weekend. if not, next week the latest.

On the pre "89" modified:

I was wondering about the upper holes where the fog lights would nornally
go, how much bigger is it than stock?

I'd be interested in the pre '89 modified Gracer, but funds wouldn't be available until after the snow goes away up here; so I'm sure my opinion doesn't count. :)

NOTE: I'd also only be interested in it if it wasn't made of fiberglass. Fiberglass doesn't give, and breaks too easily. There's a few cars up here running around with broken front bumpers made of fiberglass, and I refuse to put something like that on my Supra.

I'm in for either of them pre 89 and 89+. I've got a bomex bumper for my 88 and i'm hoping it will fit and look good but if not the pre 89 would be nice for it and then for my 90 either one would look good. as long as price is affordable...

That Gracer type 2 bumper is simply delicious! I had planed on doing the pre-89 Gracer, but after seeing this type 2 you have created I love it much more. Of couse, the type 2 would have to be pre-89 :icon_bigg. Signed up for mounted pics!

i might be intrested, depending on price. I like my bumper just fine, so im not exactly willing to spend a too-large of an amount to change it
