I've never cared much for the AEM Wb02, which is why I eventually sold mine. I've run nothing but Innovate since, and would highly recommend the LC1's.

Also of note. We never really found out why, but I have two friends who within the last year have had the rear of their Digital AEM's warp and melt. I'll see if I can track down a picture of one of them for you.

Nice....I am going to be getting the Prosports or the Autometer....I want the oil pressure gauge and I have read reports about Prosport's Oil pressure gauge failing. I had to get a sensor replaced by them, it was a wideband sensor, they wanted me to send the old one back, then I would get the new one. I explained that would leave my car undriveable and they didn't seem to care, even though I only had to gauge for two weeks.

Could have sent a new sensor and if I didn't send the old one back, then bill me for it. That makes sense, driving with an open bung does not.

Autometer for the win here. I like electronic senders, I don't find it too nice to run lines running into the cabin which can lead to leaks and I don't want an oil leak on my carpet.

I know a lot of people don't install there AEM wideband correctly and put it too close to the turbo housing. I would believe that the autometer gauge is accurate since they have been in the market for a long time and are used in top dragsters.

My avatar is my autometer with the engine off, that'll tell you something about accuracy..

Thats pretty normal. Unless the gauge was calibrated at the same altitude that you are at, its not going to read 100% perfect.

Here's the thing though, that's after I messed with it (blew air into it really hard), disconnected it, messed with the hoses, etc, it read as much as 2 psi when off...

If you look at Mobes build thread his AEM Uego had the back melt before it was even installed... wtf

IIRC it was their elite and sport comps if you want an analog face. No they're not cheap....

So you are saying the Sport-Comp and Elite gauges are the crappy ones?

I know they are not cheap. I read about the Sport-Comp gauges being bad quality on the Evo forums. I am ordering their new Peak/Warning Pro-Comp Ultra Light series gauges....

Yeah, looked it up, they have like 3 different sport-comp gauges series as well. I know their Elites are pretty awesome but they run like $150 a piece...

My statement is the same as in SF.

forget the multi plethora of gauges which are about as useful as a case of hemeriods while taking a shit, especially if they are not in your line of site of the road.

One gauge + idiot lights. Done.

AiM dash
Racepak
MoTeC
EFI Technologies
Bosch
Race Technolgy Dash2
RLC racing Pro-X.

done.

The airplane cockpit look is inefficent and takes away from the drivers primary job. Looking at the road!

and look at Ron's (or IJ's) install for MoTeC, Duane has the AiM.

K.I.S.S principle does apply here ;)

Exactly, all in one dash is where it's at for that amount of information.
I love the old school dash top full of gauges but when you add up the cost you're not saving anything, boils down to aesthetics and style at that point.

Also why are the other big names not on the original list, HKS, GReddy, Apexi, Blitz DC etc?

I was about to comment on how ridiculous it was to compare those set-ups to regular gauges, but then to my surprise, i found that some of those start at $750 or so. Interesting...

Thanks for the info Figgie!!! :)

The dash you are talking about, do I have to buy sensors? For 750, I did not see anything about sensors? I like the AIM dash but it says nothing about getting sensors to record data.
